Lastly, I just wanted to mention that the staff definitely works very hard to make the grounds and facilities very nice and well groomed. I will definitely be coming back to this KOA.

As soon as I arrived at 8ish on a Friday night, I felt at home. The staff went out of their way to make me feel very welcome at their KOA. I came alone and a couple of nice staff members checked on me to make sure I was doing okay....how wonderful. My site was occupied by another tent but the KOA immediately rectified it by allowing me to set my tent up in another area that was fairly secluded...Boy did I love that spot. My tent is all mesh so I was able to enjoy 2 nights of endless stars while I slept.

Loved my stay here! I was only able to stay for 3 nights, but wish I could have stayed longer. We brought our little 19” camper here and rented an economy space. The rates were so affordable! Took a walk with our dog along the river and she loved playing in the tall grass on the island that is alongside the river. It is about a 25 minute drive to endless activities around Glenwood Springs. The amenities around the park are fantastic for the price. All of the hookups worked great. I hope to be able to stay here again!

The mountains are everywhere so the views were amazing. It is right off of I-70 so there is some road noise at night, but nothing to worry about. The bathrooms and showers were very clean.

My suggestion to this KOA is if someone has a site reserved specifically and you upgrade the site don't kick there reservation to the side but instead call them and inform them as to the upgrade and any additional costs associated with it before changing their reservations around. as it was in my case I knew the upgrades were happening which is why I specifically requested that site thinking 5 months in advance I'm sure to get it. I never thought that because an upgrade happened it would change everyone's current reservations that were already in the system.

This was a 1 star review do to a serious communication failure with the KOA on reserving a spot. I reserved a spot in February that I was pretty sure was being transformed into a deluxe site before my trip but since I booked my trip before the amenities were upgraded I somehow was kicked to the side once the upgrades were complete and had people reserved over the top of me. It's beyond me why a simple phone call to me wasn't placed the second the upgraded sites were open to confirm I wanted to pay and stay in the upgraded sites.i even called a month in advance trying to confirm my reservation as I wanted the pagoda and concrete pad. When I got here I didn't get any one of the three sites that had the amenities I wanted.

Only for the fact I left a 1 star review and the KOA staff promptly came to our site and attempted to make it right and apologizing for the miscommunication and mess up is the reason I changed this to 4 stars.

I recommend this park to anyone as it's beautiful and serene with a gorgeous view. I would recommend being very clear with requests and getting the name of the person you talked to.

Nice KOA on the Colorado river. It is expensive as RV parks go, but has cable and WiFi which is nice. The Laundry is only open until 3:30 daily which I found a bummer. I'm giving this a 3 because they had us do self check in, but then told us we had to move after we were all set up. The person who they wanted to give our spot to arrived after us told them that he didn't mind taking another spot which he did. Shortly after this they told is we still had to move because someone was coming in later who they were putting in our spot. This seemed really odd to me and very rude. I didn't get it. There were many RV'S older than ours in the park and plenty of empty spots. I wouldn't recommend this place based on this alone. In fact I'm still upset about it.

This was our first time visiting this koa and we weren't disappointed. The restrooms were very clean. The swimming pool was one of the cleanest we seen. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here.
